I am a wife, mom of two, full time employee in the Education field, and crossfitter. I am not a registered dietician or a culinary expert. But you could add avid macro follower to that list! Why? Because it changed.my.life. I started counting macros in February of 2017. But let me back up a bit. As a former college athlete, sports had always been my avenue for staying in shape and keeping my weight down. Following athletics, my weight began to be a constant struggle. Over the course of 10 years, I gained, lost, gained more, lost some, etc. until I found myself close to 100 pounds overweight. I tried it all, and while I would have “some” success, I was never able to reach a healthy weight for my height nor was I able to maintain a weight for any length of time. Enter macros. I was given a very reasonable amount of calories to eat daily but what I was NOT given was a list of yes/no foods. You see, a list of yes/no foods does not work well for me. You tell me I can’t have something, and well, that is likely what I want. So, macros, how I love thee! I lost 75 pounds over a 10 month period, eating food that I liked. And having dessert every single night. Wait, what?! Yes! Mind blown! Yes, some sacrifice is necessary. It was difficult to have a chicken biscuit, hamburger/fries, and ice cream all on the same day. But could I have those things while counting macros & losing weight? Absolutely! Macros is sustainable because I get to eat food that I like. I can go to a birthday party and have that piece of cake. I can take my kids for an ice cream cone & enjoy one with them. I am PASSIONATE about counting macros because it literally changed my life for the better. It stopped the roller coaster of weight gain/loss that I had been on for years. I am PASSIONATE about sharing macros with others because I just feel like it’s the best way of eating ever! If you can eat what you like, lose weight, and then MAINTAIN that healthy weight while continuing to eat those foods that you enjoy, why would you not? I would love to help you make meal time a little easier while helping you reach or maintain your healthy goals, all while filing your lives and bellies with good food.

Most days I find myself balancing my clients, trying to keep a clean house, cooking healthy for my family, shuttling kids after school, and a little time for my husband and myself! I love Jesus, my family and exercise and nutrition! I am a dreamer and a planner!
I was looking for a program that would help me while training for my first half ironman in the fall of 2017! This is where I found the Macronutrient diet and I instantly fell in love! I wanted the ultimate training experience but didn’t want to feel deprived!I also wanted to know exactly what was going in my body and where I was feeling depleted so I could correct it. With the macro program in the fall of 2017 when I was training for my first ironman. I have exercised for as long as I can remember and always been conscious of what I was eating. I am pretty sure I have tried every diet from the fat free diet to whole 30! I never loved the results I would get if any because I felt like they were always telling me that I couldn’t have a particular food! Well, I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER and I could go about a day or two without and then I would just eat spoonful’s of it … I know don’t judge! LOL So, then the cycle would start over. Ugh! After finding the Macro plan and they said I could have peanut butter! I was like YESSSSS…It has saved me! HAHAAfter counting for 4 months I had finally lost the 20lb I had been carrying around while I was pregnant. This program is flexible, it fits my crazy schedule and it also fits into my families life.I know it can be exhausting at times, but I also know how important it is to recharge with some me time. When I get my exercise in s fuel my body with the right nutrition, I’m a better wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. There’s no reason why you or your body goals should be pushed to the back burner because you’re a mom with a bazillion responsibilities. We work with moms (and dads!) who need to jump start their fitness goals, from losing fat, gaining muscle, or simply developing a better relationship with food. We can teach you how to get a rockin’ body that you’ll love at every stage of life, whether you’re a twenty-something professional or a grandmother of 12. This is very doable with anyone.
